I’m Janet. I work as an admin assistant in the secondary school that my two sons attend. I was brought up in Bristol, went to college in London where I met my husband, and moved back to the Bath area when his job moved.
Having been brought up in a church-going family I became a Christian when I was 12, when I realised that God was real and that my behaviour fell short of that which the perfect God wanted to see. He showed me that it was impossible for me to reach the standard He wanted and that all I could do was ask His forgiveness and accept it as a gift.
I enjoy helping at Café International and meeting students from different countries as I studied abroad for a year (in Kiev, Ukraine and Cologne, Germany). It is also interesting to hear more about other cultures during our culture evenings.
